LOBFI group is divided into two new groups


Due to its size and intended to achieve better operability, the LOBFI group has decided to split into two groups by mutual agreement between all its members. This division coincides with the retirement and subsequent appointment as professor Emeritus Dr. UIB Gaspar Mayor LOBFI PI of the group. The new groups formed from LOBFI are:

  • MOTIBO, Research Group for Fuzzy Information Processing Models with Professor Oscar Valero as PI,
  • SCOPIA, Research Group for Soft Computing, Image Processing ana Aggregation, with Professor Joan Torrens as PI,

both groups will follow similar lines of research to those developed in the LOBFI group. This division will be effective from January 2017, the date from which this website will no longer be updated. You can find more information on each of the new groups on their websites:
